Shelby Miller started his career in civil construction at 17, working as a pipelayer and equipment operator. That time in the field built a strong understanding of how projects are actually constructed, something that still shapes how he approaches work today.
 

After earning his Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Okanagan College, Shelby moved into consulting, working with an engineering firm on subdivision and infrastructure projects across the Okanagan. During that time, he gained experience in Civil 3D drafting, design support, project coordination, and inspection. He later worked with a civil contractor, adding experience in estimating and project management from the construction side.
 

In 2023, Shelby founded Peak Civil Consulting to provide reliable Civil 3D drafting, modeling, and technical support to engineering firms, contractors, and survey teams. His work focuses on bridging the gap between design and construction, producing clear drawings, accurate quantities, and practical information that helps keep projects moving.
 

Based in the Okanagan, Shelby works remotely with clients across North America. When he’s not working, he spends time outdoors with his family; fishing, hiking, snowboarding, and exploring the backcountry.
